Inspired by the critically-acclaimed BBC series Blue Planet II, this special effects experience takes you beneath the surface to explore dynamic oceanic landscapes and one of the most captivating creatures that dwells there: the octopus. Discover how this eight-tentacled wonder masters physical and mental strengths to outwit and escape its underwater rivals.

Shedd Aquarium is showing this vibrant film in their 4D Theater for the 2021-2022 season. It will act as a natural compliment to their new Octopus exhibit. They wanted a poster that conveyed the true majesty of this amazing creature. Developed from three separate stock images, I worked closely with our partner, BBC Earth, to create something that would be representative of their brand, the 4D Experience and Shedd Aquarium’s creative brief. 

Large foyer banners draw attention to this majestic film as soon the visitors enter the Aquarium. Exterior wind master signs and interior staircase banners help direct visitors to the experience.
